I love these kinds of cartoon-ish style textures. The line work seems a little edgy but other than that great work.

Robotao responds:

Thanks, one of my first attempts at digital drawings! I'll work on the linework!

This should be Frontpaged! Excellent work as always dude!

Rhunyc responds:

Ahh thank you :)

On an iPad?! Damn....that's beyond impressive! Love it! As always your work is so adorable :)

icheban responds:

Yeah, most of my work I do on my tablet :D Thanks though!

Nice! I wasn't even aware of this game....although I haven't been following games for awhile due to my studies... I went and checked it out and I'm actually rather stoked for it. I'm going to have to give it a try once I finish my finals this quarter.

deathink responds:

Yeah man, work first, then play.

Wow :O You are so good at doing hand painted textures...

DoloresC responds:

Thank you :) still improving myself :)

Great piece! I really love her hair. It looks like you were bringing focus to her with a subtle, stylized vignette....but it kind of bugs me that her hair has so much "shadow" on top of her head. It makes me confused on where the light source is because of the shadows on her head and those covering her legs. Maybe I just don't like vignettes lol Just my opinion though ^_^

Rhunyc responds:

Thank you! The reason to that is the light cuts off mid chest, there's something above her off-canvas that is blocking the light at an angle to keep from her whole head getting lit. The ones covering her legs are from the sword blocking the light as well. :D

But after re-looking at it, I can see why that doesn't make too much sense, that was just my initial thought and I rolled with it, haha.

I appreciate the review though!

Love it! What movie is this still from? A movie you should watch that I think would have some great still opportunities is Death Sentence. I know the title makes it sound like some lame B-movie haha But I promise it's not! Well, I think it's decent lol This still you did just reminded me of that film.

Rhunyc responds:

Thank you! I appreciate that. I'll have to check that out. :) I always enjoy visually exciting movies. :D

Dude nice anatomy. Everything looks so well proportioned. I love her awkward pose in the middle left haha :)

PsychoZombii responds:

thanks dude! i'm hoping to get even better at anatomy :>

also, i actually like that pose the most, lol.

Awesome Jenni! We are just barely starting to learn this at my school. We have yet to learn how to integrate our own created models into Unity - more just learning to program in Unity - but I'm really loving Unity so far! I have quite a few flash games planned for this year but I think next year I may start using Unity full time. Actually teaming up with a classmate to make a full on game over summer break (I'm doing the programming and he is doing the art assets) so that should be a lot of fun.

....and what's this? You got scouted?! :O Congrats! I still remember trying to scout you back when we talked more often but it was before I realized how scouting works here on NG haha XD My 3D-modeling skills still have a long way to go until they are on par with yours but hopefully someday I will also get accepted into the art portal :D

Can't wait to see all that you accomplish this year! :)

jenninexus responds:

Ah thanks so much Hero! I was so happy to see I finally got scouted but I hear that changes sometimes if the scouter gets banned or if I upload sub-par work lol.. So cool you're learning Unity programming.. I've gone through so many hours (days worth) of tutorials from Unity3D.com and am still a total novice w/ the programming aspect. I did, however, get a kitty animation and arrow key controls to work in a Flash experiment - made me think of you and your doggie game :-) Not sure when I'll get back into Flash - 3D really has all my attention atm.. Keep me posted on your group adventures in Unity & beyond - and if ya have any questions about any aspect, let me know - my partner is a pro :-D

This looks great dude! I'm learning to 3D-model at school using Maya. My most recent art submission was for an assignment where we had to make 2 props (each under 250 tri) that would fit into GTA V seemlessly (I'm a computer game development major). I've only been learning to 3D-model for about 15 weeks so I still have soooo much more to learn! Hopefully one day my skills will grow enough to be noticed by the art community here ^_^ Thanks for the inspiration :)

Hellstick responds:

Keep practicing and you'll be able to improve more than you'd think!:)
Thanks for the comment friend^^

Been teaching myself programming since the start of 2014. Making simple games for now but as my knowledge grows so will my projects!
