Your profile says you are a very experienced programmer (7 years under your belt) but all your games are a little too simple. If you truly have as much skill as you say you do, I suggest you hunker down with your next project and take your time with it. Plan it out, polish the art, polish the code, and release something amazing!

Don't get me wrong I'm not bashing your games. Nothing wrong with simple games. My games prove that (although I've only been learning to program since the start of the year...). I actually liked the concept of this game. Heck I feel a bit inspired haha

Take your time with your next project and it will be sure to shine. Best of luck!

That's going to be my next 2 projects, which are going to be pretty awesome, in my opinion. A lot of these games are also made really fast for this thing that me and my friends have called a "game dare" where we make a game in a set amount of time, and whoever's is better wins. However, I do see the logic in your post, so I'll definitely make this next game awesome. :)

Don't ask for people to cut you some slack. Ask them for constructive criticism :) I understand that this is your first game and I see that you are still young. Wish I started at your age. While it is full of lag, I like the game concept. I really like your art style. Keep working at learning more code. Buy good books on whichever language you are trying to learn - don't copy/paste code you found online (not saying you did that just friendly advice). I know it is always super exciting to release a project to the web for others to play, but next time wait until you've eliminated all the bugs :)

In short, good job with finishing your first game and I look forward to your future projects!

Love the pedal mechanics to the game :) Definitely make a second game. Add a leaderboard to the game to make it competitive among the users and you will have a solid game :)

The entire art style, from the characters to the store, is almost identical to Knightmare Tower.... Same artist or just intentional...? Regardless, it was a fun game. Added it to my favorites so I can play it more later on.

Should reduce speed of laser just a smidgen. Or even better, have the lasers gradually increase in speed the farther you go down until they get to the current speed in your game.

There is so much more you can do with this but as a beginner programmer myself I have to say you've done well implementing the features you have so far. Love the character's quirky art style. You need more features to the game play. Something far less repetitive that won't risk breaking people's mice :P

Please save the inter level ads for the mobile platform. If you must have them you should really look into getting a sponsor rather than using the same newgrounds API Flash Ad + loader.

Dude nice game. I've played a lot of these over the years and it is a really poor development decision when people make these kind of games but disable the hand icon when you roller over a button. When developers do this it makes everyone just click around randomly and that takes you out of the game. Nice game design, artwork, and even the looping music stayed fresh throughout the whole game.
